1981 born and lives in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.

Nora Al Mazrooa grew up between Saudi Arabia and Spain. She graduated with a Master's degree in Ceramics from the Cardiff School of Art and Design, and is currently working as a lecturer in Islamic Art at the King Abdulaziz University in Jeddah.

In her work, Nora aims to reproduce meaning in a contemporary context. She negotiates aspects of Islamic art, employing the symbolism of Arabic calligraphy while exploring matters such as gender. Working in multiples is a significant aspect of her practice.
