Lina Gazzaz

"Art is my tool to allow the viewer to see beyond our objective conceptualization of reality, revealing the complexity imperceptible by our senses. Through the act of painting, that precise moment of inspiration and creativity allows the represented subject to break with its perceptible form, color, and spatiality. The subject thus explodes into a reality, which is unmediated by pure rationality. Whether the basic elements are derived from nature, facts, or ideas, each work can be viewed as an attempt to re-inject the emotional, imaginary, and illogical to reveal the limits of human knowledge and perception."
